Engines and Thusters

Engines are what determine the acceleration and max speed of ships when flying, boosting or using Travel Mode. Thrusters determine how fast a ship can strafe and turn around the axes. Some Engines include the same properties as Thrusters however these are exceptions.

Ship Movement Formulae

Acceleration = Engine Thrust/Ship Mass

Max Speed = Engine Thrust/Ship Directional Drag

These are mostly part of mass traffic/deployable NPC objects which are unobtainable by the player or integrated into the Space Suit .
