Yaki Investigation Plot
Reunion! The following section contains information relating to content from the Cradle of Humanity DLC
Overview
The Yaki Investigation plot explores emerging tensions between the Yaki and the Terran Protectorate with the former in the process of launching raids against the latter. The plot was introduced in the Cradle of Humanity DLC and 4.0 "Introducing Terraforming" update. In the plot the player gets to learn about the involved factions, their goals and gets to select between a multitude of outcomes with wide-reaching outcomes.
Prerequisites
- +5 with the Terran Protectorate (to initiate opening "Solborn Militia" sub-plot)
- Located in Terran sectors
- Player Headquarters Plot (for later stages of the missions)
Outcomes
The player is able to select between a combination of outcomes:
- Activate Amplifier
- Destroy Amplifier
- Inform Terrans
- Misinform Terrans
Some of these options are inherently mutually exclusive, others can become mutually exclusive depending on the order in which they are competed. For simplicity, the inherently mutually exclusive options are outlined below before the other options are discussed.

Finally, the other outcomes of ignoring, activating or destroying the amplifier must be either be completed in that order otherwise destroying the amplifier prevents its activation. Of course if its decided to activate the amplifier it is not compulsory to destroy it afterwards just as there is no requirement to activate it in the first place
