Circle

Ships will form a circle on the vertical plane.

Line Abreast

With the leader in the middle, ships will follow the commanding ship in a straight line along the Y axis.

With the leader in the middle, ships will follow the commanding ship in a straight line along the X axis.

V-Shape

Ships will fly in a V-shaped formation, with the leading ship at the front.

Inverse V-Shape

Ships will fly in a V-shaped formation, with the leading ship at the back.

Triangle

Ships will form a closed triangle on the horizontal plane.

Cross

Ships will form a cross on the vertical plane.

X-Shape

Ships will form the shape of an 'X' on the vertical plane.

Forward X-Shape

Ships will form the shape of an 'X' on the vertical plane, flying in steps at the back of the leading ship.

Point Guard

Ships will form a semi-circular wall in front of the leading ship.

Ships will form a semi-circular wall behind the leading ship.

W-Shape

Ships will fly in a W-shaped formation along the horizontal plane.

Eagle

Escorts will fly in a horizontal column, flanked by two echelon formations.

Twin

Ships will split into two groups, the second following the first one closely. The lead ship is always in the first group.

Vulcan

Ships will follow leader, splitting into two branches the further they are from the front of the formation.

Ships will follow leader in branches on vertical plane, along the Z axis and in the rear diagonals.

Ships will line up with the leader on the horizontal plane, in one of four diagonal directions.
