The Kyon Turret, evolved from the dreaded Kyon Beams that haunt the nightmares of spacefaring civilisations. This formidable turret variant embodies the relentless and insidious nature of its creators.

Though individually the damage of a single Kyon beam may appear modest for its size, its true potency lies in its ability to saturate the battlefield with a relentless barrage of energy pulses. Where Kha'ak vessels swarm, these turrets serve as harbingers of chaos, inflicting unavoidable damage on any who oppose them.

Tactical Overview

The Large Kyon Turret is exclusively found on the Kha'ak Ravager and is an exceptionally dangerous weapon. While the Kyon Emitters on the smaller Kha'ak fighters may lack significant damage output, the large turret belongs in a league of its own.

Combining the perfect accuracy of beam weapons with very long firing ranges and high damage output, the Large Kyon Turret poses a deadly threat to small and medium ships. Although most capital ships can withstand its damage for a while, the Kyon turrets have a tendency to destroy all surface elements, leaving the ship without turrets and engines.

Moreover, one of the most frustrating aspects of these Kyon turrets is their indestructibility.
