Diversification

Objective: Build a Teladianium Foundry M in Grand Exchange

Time Limit: N/A

Loss Conditions: N/A

Reward: N/A

Commentary: To begin the Player Headquarters Plot comm on the NMMC Headquarters station in PTNI Headquarters once the requirements are met and talk to Talos.   After signing up with NMMC the player is informed that to keep up with the expansion of PMC, the NMMC want to diversify into sectors other than mining.   This comes in the form of planning to set up a Teladianium Foundry M in Grand Exchange and the player is contracted to set up the station.   This is like any other Build Station mission except has no time limit and Teladianium Foundry Ms are sold at the Grand Exchange Shipyard.   If the player does not have a TL or two by this stage of the game (which they should), then hire the Teladi Supply Albatross in Grand Exchange to do the job.   As the reward credits are enough to cover construction costs and TL hire this mission should be straight forward.

Data Collection

Objective: Fly To PMC HQ in Albion Delta

 Dock at PMC HQ

 Return to NMMC HQ

Time Limit: N/A

Loss Conditions: N/A

Reward: N/A

Commentary: NMMC has bugged the PMC HQ and needs someone (the player) to retrieve the data.   Dock at PMC HQ and after some dialog it is revealed that the data is too sensitive to transmit so needs to be delivered personally to NMMC HQ.   If the player has a Jumpdrive and a ship with a decent amount of Energy Cells this will be a simple task.   Should the player decide to take the scenic route back, 7-10 waves of 6x M3s belonging to the Pirates will spawn every 5-7 minutes and attack the player ship.   If flying an M6 (like the one received from the Albion Prelude Main Plot) the attack waves will not be a threat assuming they even survive long enough to get to the player ship.   When docked at the NMMC Headquarters there is some dialog about how the stolen Plutarch information contains evidence of illegal operations by PMC which is forwarded to Aron Derik.

The Search For Nividium

Objective: Deliver 75 Nividium to NMMC Headquarters

Time Limit: N/A

Loss Conditions: N/A

Reward: Unfocussed Jumpdrive

Commentary: The player is then asked to obtain some Nividium for research and given an Unfocussed Jumpdrive to look for Nividium in the UFJD sector.   The only source of Nividium in the game economy is that which is mined by the player.   There is a Nividium Mine station but it is unknown if it can be obtained in vanilla meaning breaking up asteroids and using ships to collect the Nividium is the easiest option.   Nividium containing asteroids can spawn in the UFJD sector but are also present in Terran Unknown Sector (6,-1), Unknown Sector (16,0), Guiding Star, Spires of Elusion, CEO's Wellspring, Cathedral of Xaar, Twisted Skies, Xenon Sector 695, Enduring Light, Perpetual Sin and Distant Clouds (any missed?).   It is recommended to use ships with a high shield regeneration, a large cargo bay and Mobile Drilling System or asteroid killing missile compatibility.   The Kyoto (M2+) excels at this task as it can have multiple TS+ ships docked using CLS to store collected minerals, TMs filled with M5s to scout UFJD sectors and break up rocks, high shielding and a large surface area to smash debris fields, Spectre Missile compatability and enough firepower to fend off any hostile ships.   As Nividium containing asteroids are accessible before obtaining the UFJD it is possible to have a stockpile in preparation for this mission.   After having deposited the Nividium at the NMMC Headquarters the player is informed that PMC has hired the Pirates to attack NMMC assets.

Defend NMMC Station

Objective: Defend the NMMC Ore Mine in Scaleplate Green

Time Limit: N/A

Loss Conditions: NMMC Ore Mine is destroyed

Reward: N/A

Commentary: The Ore Mine has 5x M3s aiding the player but the pirate attacks are based on the OBS like any other Defend Object mission.   This means players with a high Fight Rank can encounter M8s and capital ships which are capable of destroying the station.   Kill all hostiles using whatever means necessary.   If the player is friendly with the Pirates it is recommended to do a few missions for them to regain lost Race Rank after the mission.   If lucky Teladi RR forces will jump in and aid the player.

Payback

Objective: Destroy the Pirate Base in Wastelands

Time Limit: N/A

Loss Conditions: N/A

Reward: N/A

Commentary: NMMC has found the staging post of all PMC orchestrated attacks on NMMC, a Pirate Base in Wastelands.   The Pirate Base spawns in the North East of the sector so is fastest approached from the East Gate.   The station is defended by an M7 and 15x M3s however RR ships of the Argon will jump in and mince all ships but ignore the Pirate Base.   A Pirate Base has 3GJ of shielding and 15GJ of hull meaning the player will need to bring the strongest ships owned otherwise reducing the hull can become tedious without the use of heavy missiles (20x Firestorms are compatible with the Centaur (M6) obtained from the Albion Prelude Main Plot).   Alternatively place a small cheap station like a Wheat Farm M inside the Pirate Base and twist it using a Tractor Beam for mutually assured destruction of both stations.   After destroying the Pirate Base, Talos contacts the player saying that NMMC is having to sell off some assets to rebuild the business after the PMC raids and that the player will be given both a discount and first pick of some of the better assets.   If friendly to the Pirates the player will need to do multiple missions to regain the lost Race Rank.

Clearance Sale

Objective: Purchase the Albatross with a Player Headquarters for 46,806,440 credits

Time Limit: N/A

Loss Conditions: N/A

Reward: Albatross (TL) and Player Headquarters (Commonwealth)

Commentary: Head back to PTNI Headquarters and comm the NMMC Headquarters to pay 46,806,440 credits for the Player Headquarters and TL carrying it.   The offer never expires so the player is in no rush to obtain the funds although by this stage of the game the player should have hundreds of millions of credits.   After paying the credits the ship spawns from the East Gate.   Jump out of the sector immediately to prevent any military ships tailgating the TL causing a loss of the PHQ.   It is recommended to place the Player headquarters in sectors rich in resources (like Savage Spur or Mines of Fortune) to supply the PHQ with materials for ship construction and to equip produced ships.
